This is the original website of Soulforged a former high-end raiding guild on the EQ2 server of Antonia Bayle. After a succesfull run over ROK and TSO content, the last one which has seen us achieve a number of server-firsts, the guild was disbanded as many members left the game.
After the launch of Sentinel's Fate, the guild was revived by Dorianx, one of its original officers. This current website now acts as a meeting place for the former members - the new official website for the revived guild will be posted at a later time.
If you are looking for the new official website of the revived Soulforged guild, head over here.
The old website has succesfully been migrated to a different server. Do not forget to update your bookmark to point to this new page.
If you were set to automatically login and are now having issues with this new server, please contact me in-game so I can manually disable the auto login for your account. This will let you log in normally, and then set it back to auto-login.
Dorian, who was a longtime officer in the original Soulforged lineup, is now reforming the guild as a late night (Sun/Tues/Thur, 12am-3am EST) raiding guild. I have turned over leadership of the guild to him. If you are interested in joining, please contact Dorianx or Miffin in game.
Once they have a new webstie setup I will post the URL here.
As for this old website, I will be moving it to a different server, and keeping it alive for those of us that still use it as a meeting place. I will post more info later.
As more and more people kept feeling the burnout settle in, it was becoming increasingly difficult to replace everyone with skilled players. After a few weeks of very positive progress we have been once again going down the slope in terms of efficiency, as more people kept leaving or quitting.
We've decided to call it a day for the time being. The guild will still remain active as a more casual guild for as long there will be people interested in sticking around (or even in joining us). People are welcomed to leave their alts here even if they leave. We're hoping that the next expansion will bring more fun than the steaming pile of crap TSO has been raid-wise, compounded with the facts that the recently added raid zones have been horrible (except for WoE), and we are being told that we have to wait until February 2010 for the new expansion. When that next expansion hits, we will definitely be reconsidering our options.
Thank you to everyone, both past and current members. We've accomplished a lot in a short period of time. Hopefully EQ2's future will get better. In the mean time, we're keeping the lights on in the guild hall.
